about loadlr

Loadlr was born in a van, between two soundchecks, after the umpteenth hour spent reformatting a shared spreadsheet to split fuel costs. We wanted one app for working bands, the ones spending more time coordinating than composing. The promise is simple: get admin out of the way so the music can come back to the front.

The team is musicians, tour managers, and engineers who've all loaded too many vans. We're building the tool we wished we had, one that works offline in venues with rough wifi, doesn't lock your data into proprietary formats, and doesn't require an MBA to understand splits.

the problem we solve

A band that plays is five people coordinating across eight different tools. The calendar on WhatsApp, expenses on Google Sheets, setlists in Notion, files in Dropbox, rehearsals over SMS, and three Telegram groups that contradict each other. Nobody ever knows who paid for gas on the last trip, who confirmed the club date, or where the right mix of the single lives. The drummer misses rehearsal because it was moved on Discord. The tour manager re-sends the same rider three times. Everyone burns fifteen minutes a day hunting down information that already exists - somewhere. It's not a tech problem, it's an attention problem. Every minute spent searching is a minute not spent playing.

how we build

Your data belongs to you. You can export everything any time, in files you can open anywhere else. If Loadlr disappears one day, your history does not disappear with it.

The app stays readable without a network. Most venues do not have decent wifi, so the night's schedule, the rider, the contacts - all of it stays accessible. Changes sync back when the network returns.

Splits are by percentage or by share. No accountant vocabulary, no checkboxes nobody understands.

The beta is free. Bands who sign up now will keep a reduced price afterward. We have not locked the tiers yet - we want to see how you actually use the app before we set them.
